What we collect, why, and who we share it with. The short version: as little as possible, and never sold.
Trap Silicon respects your privacy and collects as little as possible. This site itself sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or ad trackers. If you contact us, book a session, subscribe to CTRL, or download the guide, the information you give us goes only to the service providers listed below, so we can do the thing you asked for. We don’t sell your personal information.
Browsing trapsilicon.com, we collect nothing about you automatically beyond standard server logs kept by our host. The site stores one small flag in your browser to remember if you dismissed the “add to home screen” banner, and a service worker caches files for offline use — neither leaves your device.
If you submit an inquiry or the qualification form, what you type — your name, email, phone if you give it, and your message — is relayed to our inbox and stored in our client-records system so we can respond and keep track. If you subscribe to CTRL, we receive limited transaction data from our payment processor (email, tier, payment status) — never your full card number. If you download the guide, we use your email to send it and, from time to time, occasional updates about what we’re building; you can unsubscribe in one click, any time.
When we deliver a Demo, Run, Residency, or Stash, we may touch systems, accounts, and material you give us — only to do the work. We don’t retain your engagement data longer than the work and any short backup cycle require, we don’t combine it with any other client’s, and we never use it to train any AI model. Business engagements run under a written confidentiality schedule.
We share information only with the providers needed to run the service:
Each handles your data under its own privacy policy. We don’t receive browsing data back from them about your visit.
Whether or not privacy laws like the CCPA or GDPR apply to us, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete anything you’ve sent us — email admin@trapsilicon.com and we’ll handle it within the time the law requires. We protect information with encrypted transport and sensible controls, though no method is ever perfectly secure. This site and our services are for adults 18 and older; we don’t knowingly collect information from minors. If our data practices change, we’ll update this page and its date.
